In late April, the Ethical Culture society helped People for Puget Sound and The Heron Habitat Helpers with the Kiwanis Ravine Overlook project. We all worked hard to help with the restoration of the ravine as an urban wildlife area. Thank you to everyone who participated. Pictures of the action can be found in our Gallery:

Yearly member meeting. We will be holding elections for new board members. Meeting is from 10:00am - 12:00am. Doors open at 9:30am for coffee and chat.

Peter Orth and Kate Simkowiak have been elected to the Board of Directors. The Board now consists of Kathryn Gish, Amy Waterman, Derek Simkowiak, Korte Brueckmann, Peter Orth and Kate Simkowiak. New officers will be elected by the Board at the next board meeting on June 5th.
Our last meeting of the season will be the June 5th potluck at the Tallmadge Hamilton House at 10:00AM. Regular meetings will be held again starting in early September. During the summer we are planning several social events, family hikes, and camping trips. Details will be posted here and sent to the ECS Chat lists.
